I am running for judge because we need honest and fair minds on the bench, who know the law and the legal system.
I started my legal career as a judicial law clerk where I was trained to look at both sides of every case and make a decision based on a fair application of the law. The experience I had with a judge, and experienced litigator, led me to interview with the Clark County District Attorney's Office, where I have been serving to protect the community as a criminal prosecutor. As a Deputy District Attorney, I have been in court almost every day handling thousands of cases. I have handled the complete criminal calendar in every justice court in Clark County, from Laughlin to Mesquite.
I am committed to the Las Vegas community--which has been my home since I was 4 months old. I know the community and its needs. I am the right choice to step into Department 13 and get the job done right. I have been protecting the community as a prosecutor for the last 5 years and I will do the same when this community elects me to be Justice of the Peace, Department 13.
